What makes me sad about this event, other than the loss itself, is the sheer lack of love behind the whole affair. It is 70 years since Katyn, so how can anyone who calls themself a Christian not be looking to forgive?
There are always excuses.
There are always new people to die.
Instead of excuses, I want to see the same amount of effort put into caring for the people and the problems of today. Luckily, this will increase Poland's exposure internationally, and I hope that it does encourage more people to come here in the future.
